Belarusian-Lithuanian joint collection of samples of surface waters and interlaboratory comparison

 Samples of surface waters were jointly collected by representatives of Belarusian and Lithuanian lab services at a transboundary observation point on the Viliya River (territory of the Republic of Belarus) on 24 October 2019 in line with the plan for the Belarusian-Lithuanian joint collection of samples and interlaboratory comparison analysis of samples of surface waters in transboundary sections of bodies of water and the sharing of information about the state of surface waters in 2019. The Belarusian side was represented by labs of the National Center for Analytical Monitoring in the Area of Environmental Protection: the Grodno Oblast Lab for Analytical Control, the Smorgon Interdistrict Lab for Analytical Control, and a Minsk-based lab for physical and chemical measurements. The Lithuanian side was represented by labs of the Environment Research Department of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): the Chemical Analysis Division, the Alytus Analytic Control Division, the Utena Analytic Control Division, and the Vilnius Analytic Control Division.

The collected samples were delivered to labs for carrying out interlaboratory comparison analysis.
